things didn't go way I wanted desperately. Relationship with my friend, promotion at my job etc etc. my boxes were broken and I was falling into deep bitterness. Thank you Lord for breaking my boxes and washing away my selfish ambitions and humbling me to be better prepared for future blessing God has restored for me. He is kind and good. I think a lot of the time that living in a physical world in which we are top dog, where we can look at anything and eventually come to understand it fully can lead to a certain arrogance sometimes, and when we deal with Jesus, who is undoubtably greater in knowledge and wisdom, that arrogance of expecting to be able to understand everything can shine through. When we realize that, and accept the humility of our position before Him, and put all of our life in His hands, we can come to experience a level of love and joy in discovering every new thing that He shows us as we go building a deeper and deeper relationship with Him that is impossible to put into words.

I think I get what you are saying and I generally agree with you. The only thing I would point out is what Peter did after denying Jesus. He went back to his former life of fishing which was his vocation before Jesus called him. I don't know if Peter was giving up on Jesus or waiting for Him while fishing. Either way, Jesus went after him to restore him. I would like to think that God would come after me again if I walked away, not that I recommend that, but sometimes we find ourselves in the same boat as Peter - lost and confused.

I feel like we have revelations given to us from the Holy Spirit throughout life or in the Bible but we can feel confused or frustrated sometimes faith takes time but it’s worth it to see things through, I agree and love your perspective

Jesus got his hands dirty for people. If people do not choose the light, everything goes out of balance. I think one meaning could be to balance light and shadow, but that requires people who do not always seek the easy way. However, a life away from darkness on a ranch with horses and a happy family could also be meaningful. 😊 Another purpose for me would be to create something through my own efforts, to live out creativity.

1 corinthians 12:3 and 1 john 4:3 I would like to share how i test which voice that i hear. First, asking holy spirit who talk to me ( when i pray, i always put my thoughts off, neutral, not think anything and i often pray in spirit ), second i do second test by asking the spirit who talked to me with both verses. If they dont confirm , it is from evil .

I totally get this ! I just had a major shaking off my faith. One in which I wholeheartedly had to rely on God to move in. I literally was like I'm OUT. Peace. And the lord will not let me go. So I think that is encouraging. As I recently heard someone put it "sometimes you carry faith, and sometimes it carries you". Keep the faith !
